Teachers will also find pre- and post-visit materials to enhance the school program experience at the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace.   In 1948, President Harry S. Truman signed a bill authorizing a stamp in honor of Juliette Gordon Low.
  
  In 1954, Savannah honored Juliette Gordon Low by naming a public school for her.
