The Girl Scout Movement

Discover how Juliette Gordon Low, known for funny and unusual antics, artistic talent and disorganization came to founded the world's largest organization for Girls and Women. Using primary sources from archives, expert professional staff lead a fascinating tour of the Birthplace focusing specifically on the amazing history of the Girl Scouts. The tour includes a special viewing of the Girl Scout collection which includes uniforms, insignia, books and more. The manager of the Birthplace Archives and Girl Scout collections leads this lively in-depth tour.

Juliette Low wrote, "I was born on the night when witches, imps and fairies roamed the earth!" Tour her childhood home - laugh at her funny antics - be inspired by her courage and impressed by her artistic talent, indomitable spirit and great work, the Girl Scouts. Visitors in costume (no face masks please!) will receive a $1 ticket discount.
