Girl Scout Adult Opportunities at the Birthplace
Sojourn in Savannah
Sojourn in Savannah is a special wider opportunity and training session. It is your chance to visit Savannah, Daisy's hometown. This session is designed for individuals or council teams who are planning a troop or council trek to the Juliette Gordon Low Girl Scout National Center and for adults who have always dreamed to visit Juliette Low's Birthplace.
Participants sample all Birthplace Special Interest Sessions, meet representatives from the Savannah area and coastal region attractions, tour the Birthplace and Savannah's historic district and explore long distance trip planning for Girl Scouts. A highlight of the event for many Sojourners is the chance to share ideas, plans and hopes with Girl Scouts adults from all over the country. Sojourn in Savannah is now a one day program that has fun optional activities scheduled the day before and the day after to complete your visit if you wish.
The cost for the event is $55.00 per person. The fee includes all Birthplace activities, training sessions, a Birthplace Pin and a Sojourn patch.
Make this your year to visit Juliette Gordon Low Girl Scout National Center in Savannah, Georgia.
Sojourn in Savannah dates are: November 7, 2009 and February 20, 2010 and September 18, 2010.
