Juliette Low Birthplace Library Recognized by the American Alliance of Museums

The staff at GSUSA and the Juliette Low Birthplace was thrilled to receive an Honorable Mention for our library exhibit, Girls Writing the World: A Library, Reimanined, from the American Alliance of Museums’ (AAM) 23rd annual “Excellence in Exhibition” competition.  Since the transformation in 2015, our girl and adult visitors have told us how much they love Girls Writing the World: A Library, Reimagined, so to be recognized in the company of some of the most innovative museums in the country is a fantastic honor!  Girl Scouts has worked hard to care for this national treasure since purchasing the Birthplace in the 1950s, making it a place where all visitors can see themselves reflected in Girl Scouts’ mission to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.  Stay tuned for more exciting projects to come!
