Reflecting on QuestFest 2019

Our founder Juliette “Daisy” Low often said that “Ours is a circle of friendships united by ideals.” Spending time with our sisters is one of our most cherished Girl Scout traditions; from friendship circles to sitting around a camp fire, we know these circles are not only round and have no end, they represent the strength and continuity of our Girl Scout family over the past 107 years.

This year for QuestFest, in partnership with our friends and sisters at Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia, the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace invited questers to work together to make a physical representation of our Girl Scout family.  Using the daisies that they had been instructed to bring with them to Savannah, they wove together a beautiful daisy chain that will be used by Girl Scouts here in Savannah for years to come. Just like our Movement, each person brought something small and lovely that, when joined with others, created something big, bold, and beautiful.
