No one knows your troop better than you. Consider if your troop likes quiet museum trips or hands-on workshops. There's something in Savannah for everybody.
Don't forget to eat! When looking at your day, make sure you have ample time to relax with some good food.
Take a break. Savannah has a lot to do, so you want to make sure you don't overwhelm your troop, especially Daisies and Brownies. Add in some time to sit in a park or a square so your troop can relax.
Go to the beach. Tybee Island is only a twenty-minute drive away and is a perfect getaway, especially in the summer heat. Check out our Tybee Itinerary here.
Plan ahead. Many experiences need to be booked at least a month in advance.
Bring shoes you can walk in. Savannah is a walkable city, so anticipate walking two to five miles a day.

Embassy Suites. This hotel has an outdoor pool and free cooked-to-order breakfast.
Hampton by Hilton. Experience a delicious free breakfast with room discounts for groups.
Hilton Garden Inn. Enjoy a great pool and easy access to the Hop-On, Hop-Off Trolley.
Homewood Suites by Hilton. These spacious suites sleep up to six Girl Scouts with free breakfast and a rooftop pool.

Arriving by Air - The Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) is only twenty minutes away from Downtown Savannah and is the #1 airport in the country six years running, according to Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards.
Arriving by Car - Savannah is well-connected by major highways, including Interstate 95 and Interstate 16.
Arriving by Bus - Savannah is connected by several regional bus services like Greyhound or Megabus. You may also consider hiring a private bus from places like Elite Savannah Travel or Kelly Tours.
Arriving by Train - Train journeys can be a scenic and comfortable way to visit the region. The Savannah train station is located a few miles west of the Historic District.
