Nestled in the heart of historic downtown Savannah, the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace Museum offers an enchanting wedding experience in the garden of a beautifully preserved historic home. Surrounded by cobblestone streets, moss-draped oaks, and centuries of Southern charm, your celebration will feel like it’s been lifted from the pages of a romantic novel.
What’s Included:
On Tuesday, December 21st, 1886, Juliette Gordon Low — the beloved founder of the Girl Scouts — celebrated her wedding reception within these very walls. She and her new husband were said to have "stood under a marriage bell of flowers, and everyone graduated [sic] them" in joyful celebration. Afterward, the newlyweds exited through the front doors and departed by carriage for the serene shores of St. Catherine’s Island.
Today, we are honored to open our doors to modern couples, offering them the opportunity to begin their own love stories in this historic and romantic setting.
We invite you to explore the garden with a member of our events team who will guide you through the venue, answer your questions, and help you envision every detail of your perfect day.
