A Gordon Family Christmas Tour

Date: Thu Nov 20 - Sun Jan 04

This holiday season, the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace invites you to discover the spirit of the season through A Gordon Family Christmas Tour, a historically grounded and heartwarming experience running from November 20 through January 4. Based on meticulous archival research, this special tour offers a window into the holiday traditions that once filled this cherished home with joy.

Set in the beautifully preserved home of Juliette Gordon Low, founder of Girl Scouts, the tour brings to life the festive spirit that once filled these rooms when Juliette’s parents welcomed their children and grandchildren home for the holidays. Every detail, from the wreaths to the menu, has been carefully curated based on family letters, memoirs, and historical documents.

Our team delved into dozens of personal writings to uncover the intimate holiday moments that shaped the Gordon family’s celebrations: baby dolls tucked into stockings, pickled peaches gracing the dining table, and the joyful chaos of children’s laughter echoing through the halls. Each object tells a story drawn from the family’s own words.

Whether you're a history enthusiast, a Girl Scout alum, or simply seeking holiday inspiration, A Gordon Family Christmas Tour offers an immersive, educational experience for all ages.
