Jekyll and Hyde: The Many Faces of Evil
Date: Thu Oct 23, 6:00 PM EST - Thu Oct 23, 8:00 PM EST

Since its Victorian debut, Jekyll and Hyde has morphed with society’s darkest fears—from moral panic to mental health, addiction, and identity. This lecture traces how each adaptation reveals the anxieties of its time—and what still haunts us today.

Join us for our October Lecture Series - Monsters and Manuscripts - where lecturers explore topics related to identity, gender, and society in the Progressive Era through the lens of the occult, folklore, and horror literature. After each lecture, we will host a Q&A meet and greet in the garden with thematic refreshments.

This event is $10 and open to the public. Members of Circle of Friends have free admission. Registration required.
